More volunteerism by the scouts today

Troop 138G were out in force this morning volunteering for the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer walk at Bergen Community College. There were many sponsors for this event that drew over 500 people. The walk raised an incredible $130,000!!!

Regrettably, pancreatic cancer only has a 5% survival rate. Yet, with the awareness efforts that events like this create the survival rate can rise to 11%.

Always great to see Troop 138G out in front.
