Giving Thanks

As we give thanks around our own tables, we can remember our fun Campsgiving.

  • Nearly 40 scouts from 138B + G

  • It was a feast - 2 Turkeys, 2 Hams, Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, string beans, broccoli, corn bread, cranberry sauce, gravy

  • There was some fishing fun; granted, nothing was caught, but fun nonetheless. Worms were hard to come by.

  • Why sleep in a bunk, when you can build a fort.

  • A 5 mile hike turned into 8. Mr. DeZuzio ended up the hero but navigation skills are still in question.

  • The scouts do know how to cook and dice and chop. No getting out of Thanksgiving meal prep.

  • Laughs all around with the skits hosted by James D with tremendous accolades.
