At our meeting this week Paramus Councilwoman Rizzo came to talk with our Scouts about the importance of being an active and good citizen in our community. Mrs. Rizzo discussed some issues our Scouts asked about and explained the rules and etiquette of a council meeting. Our scouts have been invited to attend the next meeting on Tues., April 22nd from 6-8pm in the Borough Office building.

Scouts needing this Eagle required merit badge have to attend a council meeting in person to observe the process and listen to issues our community is facing. Scouts are welcome to ask questions or bring up an issue but they need to be well prepared with their facts and keep it to 2 mins or less.
