Last night, Luciano achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, learning that important life lesson: the things that matter most require dedication, time, patience, and above all, perseverance.
Also, this past weekend, James, Christopher, Gabe, and Asher joined the Order of the Arrow after completing their Ordeal at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco. It was a wet weekend, but the boys demonstrated their grit and pulled through and now possess the "secret."
Troop 138 has much to be proud of! Keep up the great work, boys!!!!
Parents: At the Leader's Meeting on this Thursday night (June 5), we are requesting the presence of all parents and senior scouts. This will be the final leader's meeting before our last scout meeting (June 12). Troop 138 will be undergoing a transition as I will be stepping down as Scoutmaster, and Mr. Lempenau will be stepping up to take on this important role.
Moreover, Mrs. Viger will be transitioning from her role as Advancement Coordinator as Jake and Luke will be aging out this summer. Mrs. Viger did an exceptional job in this position, and we will be seeking a volunteer to fill this critical role.
Additionally, our final Scout meeting for the Spring (June 12) will be held outdoors, featuring food and fun, with a focus on elections. We will plan this event this Thursday (June 5).
Looking forward to seeing you!
